About Us

The Utah Valley Handbell Choir has been ringing throughout the state since the group’s establishment in 1993 making us Utah’s oldest community bell choir.

The group was formed by Karen Eskew-Wyllie and for twenty-seven years she helped to augment the growing bell community in Utah. Under her direction, numerous musicians received their initial instruction in bells, and later became ringers in prominent positions throughout the state and the country. Karen recently retired to her home state of Florida leaving behind an established legacy of handbell excellence and artistry. She is dearly missed.

The Utah Valley Handbell Choir performs throughout the winter and spring seasons. During these times, the choir practices for two hours each week. We currently practice at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Provo, UT. We are grateful for our friends at the SDA Church and are thankful for their generosity and support.
